Discover Your Own Backyard!
Jim McManus, Barry County Planning and Zoning Administrator, was our guide as we toured areas of Barry County. We visited the Woodland, Middleville and Gun Lake areas and had a wonderful tour and lunch at the Bay Pointe Inn and Resort. In the afternoon we traveled to the Michigan Farmers Hall of Fame in Prairieville and ended our day at the Gilmore Car Museum. It was a beautiful, warm summer day and an enjoyable one for all of us!

A Spring Trip to Warsaw, Indiana!
We visited Warsaw, Indiana for the day. We stopped at the Whispering Springs bottled water plant, had lunch at The Boathouse in The Village of Winona, visited Weckmuller Fine Chocolates and Candies, where we watched a demonstration on how those delectable treats are made and made a final stop at the Maple Lane Bakery, where everything is made from scratch by a Mennonite mother and her three daughters. A great day away with friends! View photos.
