Privacy Policy of Hastings City Bank, HCB Mortgage Company, and CityBanc Insurance Services, Inc. (the “HCB Corporate Family”)
This privacy policy applies to individuals who obtain or apply for a financial product or service for personal, family, or household purposes, or have done so in the past from Hastings City Bank or members of the HCB Corporate Family. If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, and through Internet collection devices, such as your name, address, social security number, assets and income;
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others, such as your account balance, payment history and overdraft history; and
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as your creditworthiness and your payment history.
NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE TO MEMBERS OF THE HCB CORPORATE FAMILY
We may disclose identification information (such as name and address), transaction and experience information (such as loan repayment history) and personal information (such as information obtained from a consumer report) with members of the HCB Corporate Family. Members of the HCB Corporate Family who may receive this information are financial services and insurance providers such as our bank, mortgage company, and insurance agency. Sharing of such information better enables us to match our products and services with your specific needs and helps reduce the amount of information you need to furnish every time you deal
with us.
HOW TO TELL US NOT TO SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITHIN THE HCB CORPORATE FAMILY
While we are permitted to share transaction and experience information by law, you may direct us not to share certain other personal information ( i.e., information contained on an application, information obtained from a consumer report) with members of the HCB Corporate Family. If you desire us not to share this information (i.e., if you desire to “opt out”), please call us at 1-888-422-2280 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., ET, Monday thru Friday. For a joint account (account held by two or more consumers), either of the joint accountholders may exercise the right to opt-out. We will treat an opt-out direction by one joint accountholder as applying to all joint accountholders. This opt-out will apply to all accountholder’s individual and joint accounts.
NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE TO NONAFFILIATED THIRD PARTIES
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone outside the HCB Corporate Family, except as permitted by law.
We may disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OF NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
